Britain gives Ukraine technology to protect drones from Russian defences

Britain will share new electronic technology with Ukraine that helps drones avoid detection and attack by Russian air defences.

The system, known as Stone Cloak, has already been tested in combat and fitted to thousands of Ukrainian drones.

President Volodymyr Zelensky is visiting Britain as he seeks more military support and a new agreement to produce drones in both countries.

He says Ukraine also needs more air-defence systems to stop Russian ballistic missiles.

Zelensky is due to travel next to Washington for talks with US President Donald Trump.
