
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama will travel to Brussels on Tuesday to finish the first part of his country's talks to join the European Union.
Officials will sign agreements covering education, research, and foreign policy. Ireland, which currently leads the European Union, will host the evening meeting.
The Albanian government hopes to finish all entry talks by twenty-twenty-seven. It wants to become a full member by 2030.
Before heading to Brussels, Mr Rama will visit Paris on Monday to meet French President Emmanuel Macron.
