Kosovo’s acting prime minister, Albin Kurti, has opened talks with opposition parties on forming new institutions after the certification of the June 7 election results.
Kurti’s office said invitations were sent Thursday morning to the leaders of the three parliamentary opposition parties: PDK, LDK and AAK.
Vetëvendosje won 53 seats in the election, short of a majority. PDK won 22 seats, LDK 18 and AAK seven.
Kosovo’s new parliament must hold its first session within 30 days of the certification of the results.
