Kosovo’s acting foreign minister has urged the Hague-based court trying former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army to deliver a legal, not political, verdict.
Glauk Konjufca spoke ahead of a ruling expected on September 16.
He said Kosovo would react strongly if the decision was seen as politically driven. Konjufca argued that the KLA fought a just war and had received support from NATO countries.
The court is trying former senior KLA figures over alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity.
