Kyiv strike death toll rises to 30

The death toll from Russia’s attack on Kyiv rose to 30 after rescuers pulled more bodies from the rubble, Ukrainian officials said.

Four more people were killed overnight in new Russian attacks across Ukraine.

In the Sumy region, a drone hit a home and killed two women, an elderly man and a girl under two. Three others were wounded.

Seven people were injured in a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, President Volodymyr Zelensky’s hometown.

Kyiv declared a day of mourning. Officials said the attack destroyed apartment blocks, damaged a building used by diplomats and hit a Ukrainian Red Cross warehouse.

Russia said it struck military and energy targets. Ukraine says Russia is hitting civilians.
