SPAK to hire 40 new investigators

SPAK is preparing to recruit 40 new investigators as part of a wider reorganization of Albania’s anti-corruption and organized crime structure.

Chief prosecutor Klodian Braho announced the plan during the presentation of SPAK’s 2025 annual report.

Braho said the new hires will help strengthen criminal intelligence, tactical operations, cryptocurrency tracing and cybercrime investigations.

He also said SPAK is preparing a public report on organized crime groups operating in Albania and abroad, including their markets, methods, territory and links to money laundering and corruption.
