Albania's main opposition party completed an overnight vote on Thursday to elect its deputy leaders and general secretary.
Flamur Noka easily won re-election as general secretary after party officials added a rival candidate to the ballot at the last minute.
That rival candidate confirmed he only learned about his nomination on the day of the vote, securing just eighty-four votes against Noka's one hundred and eighty-four.
The election followed a tense party assembly where a dissenting member publicly challenged leader Sali Berisha over Noka's renomination.
The party also confirmed two incumbent deputy leaders and elected new executives to represent youth members and the Albanian diaspora.
