England beat Norway in extra time to reach World Cup semi-finals

In Miami, England have advanced to the World Cup semi-finals after beating Norway two-to-one in extra time.

Midfielder Jude Bellingham scored twice to secure the quarter-final victory. Norway took the lead in the thirty-sixth minute through Andreas Schjelderup. Bellingham equalised for England in first-half stoppage time.

After a scoreless second half forced extra time, Bellingham struck the winning goal in the ninety-third minute to send Thomas Tuchel's team into the last four.

England reach the World Cup semi-finals for the eleventh time in their history. They will play either reigning champions Argentina or Switzerland for a place in the final.
