Tirana airport adds Zurich and Sofia flights

Tirana International Airport is adding direct flights to Zurich and Sofia, expanding its route network.

The Zurich-Tirana route will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Direct flights to Sofia will also operate three times a week, on the same days.

The new routes give passengers more direct travel options between Albania, Switzerland and Bulgaria, reducing the need for transit flights.

Tour operators said the added routes will help tourists, emigrants and Albanian passengers travelling abroad.
