The conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran is spreading across the region, with new reports of Israeli military activity in Azerbaijan and fresh strikes in Lebanon.
Tehran has reacted angrily to reports that Israeli troops have been deployed in Azerbaijan.
In Washington, President Donald Trump said he would be willing to meet Iran’s Supreme Leader if a deal could be reached to end the war.
But major obstacles remain. Iran has rejected reports that it agreed to move enriched uranium abroad, while sanctions and frozen Iranian funds are still unresolved.
Lebanon has also seen new violence, with health officials saying at least 12 people were killed in Israeli strikes between Tyre and Nabatieh.
The EU says jet fuel supplies are not at risk for now, but has called for the Strait of Hormuz to reopen quickly.
