Vetëvendosje reaches 50 seats as Kosovo vote count continues

Albin Kurti’s Vetëvendosje party has reached 50 seats in Kosovo’s parliament as counting continues.

The Central Election Commission says 2,458 of 2,691 polling stations have been counted, including some votes cast at diplomatic missions abroad.

Vetëvendosje has passed 300,000 votes, giving it 43.65% and 50 seats in the 120-seat parliament.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo now has 23 seats, while the Democratic League of Kosovo has 19.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has eight seats.

Votes from diplomatic missions are still being counted, with 33 of 47 polling stations processed so far.
