Montenegro rejects Serbian claims of 'hybrid war'

Montenegro has rejected Serbian claims that it is waging a “hybrid war” against Belgrade.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić accused Montenegrin media of helping efforts to undermine his government.

Montenegro’s foreign ministry called the claim baseless and said parts of Serbia’s political establishment still failed to accept Montenegro’s sovereignty.

Serbia responded by accusing “certain circles” in Montenegro of trying to influence Serbian politics.

Montenegro voted for independence from Serbia in 2006.
