Govt announces EU support plan for small businesses

The government announced a new programme to help small and medium-sized businesses prepare for Albania’s EU membership process, Prime Minister Edi Rama said.

The programme will bring in experts to advise companies on the changes they will face as Albania moves closer to the EU market.

Rama said the government wants to help businesses that have clear plans to grow but need support to expand.

He also said a separate scheme, “Double Your Enterprise,” will open in the coming days for companies seeking to increase production and prepare for stronger competition.
