Albania is preparing a 15% minimum tax for large multinational and domestic company groups.
The rule would apply to groups with annual revenue of at least 750 million euros.
The aim is to stop large companies from moving profits to low-tax countries and paying less tax where they actually do business.
Under the draft law, Albania could collect extra tax when profits made in the country are taxed below the 15% floor.
The measure could bring in more tax revenue and would put Albania closer to European Union and OECD rules.
It would take effect after Albania joins the European Union.
