Foreign arrivals in Albania reached nearly five million in the first half of 2026, up 6.2% from the same period last year.
The increase was led by tourism and private travel. In June, 98% of foreign entries were for personal reasons, while business and professional arrivals fell by 17.7%.
About 1.3 million foreign nationals entered Albania in June, an increase of 1.3% from a year earlier.
Two-thirds of European arrivals came from southern Europe, showing Albania’s continued reliance on visitors from nearby countries.
