Albania is no longer among the cheapest places in the region for short-term accommodation.
AirDNA data show the average daily rent has reached about €57 a night.
That makes Albania more expensive than Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo and North Macedonia.
Only Montenegro is higher in the Western Balkans, at about €79 a night.
The rise comes as more foreign tourists choose Albania, increasing demand for short stays.
But Albania is still much cheaper than nearby EU destinations such as Greece, Italy and Croatia, where average nightly prices are more than twice as high.
