About 30 cadets at Albania’s police academy have fallen ill, weeks after a confirmed food poisoning case at the same institution.
The cadets reported vomiting, diarrhoea, fever and headaches on Wednesday night.
They were taken to hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating whether the latest illness was caused by food or another source.
The academy, based in Sauk near Tirana, trains future police officers.
In May, 56 students from the same academy were treated in hospital after eating contaminated pasta.
Food inspectors later found E. coli and staphylococcus bacteria and temporarily shut the kitchen.
The private catering company was fined for unsafe food and poor hygiene conditions.
