Albania and Kosovo aim to get more farm products into foreign markets

Albania and Kosovo have agreed to work together to help farmers and food producers reach wider markets.

The agreements cover farming advice, new technology, digital services and joint promotion of food products.

The two governments also plan to support producers at international fairs and in regional trade.

The aim is to make farm products from both countries more competitive outside their home markets.

Officials say the cooperation could also help Albania and Kosovo apply for European Union and international development funds.

Agriculture remains important for jobs, rural communities and food security in both countries.
