Concrete mixer crash kills two in Tirana

Two people were killed when a concrete mixer collided with a car on the southern outskirts of Tirana.

The truck broke through a safety barrier and fell onto the lower section of the Tirana–Elbasan road.

One person in the truck died at the scene. The second died in hospital.

Both victims are believed to be foreign nationals.

The car driver was injured but is not in danger. Police are investigating the cause.
