Rama attends Ukraine recovery talks in Poland

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama is attending the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk, Poland.

The two-day meeting brings together governments, international lenders, businesses and civil society groups to discuss Ukraine’s reconstruction.

The conference aims to raise political and financial support for rebuilding Ukraine after Russia’s invasion.

Talks will focus on energy, critical infrastructure, logistics and security.

Rama is expected to attend the opening ceremony and speak during the second plenary session.

He is also due to meet Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, EU enlargement commissioner Marta Kos and business representatives.

Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is not expected to attend after a diplomatic dispute with Poland.
