Pro-Iran commentator seen at resort protest

A television commentator known for supporting Iran’s regime was seen at Sunday night’s protest in Tirana, according to local media.

Ikballe Huduti joined what organisers have called the “Flamingo Revolution”, now in its 22nd day.

The protest is linked to opposition to a planned resort project in Zvërnec, near the Vjosa-Narta protected area.

Huduti’s presence is likely to draw attention because of her past public support for Tehran.

A local platform reported that she took part in the latest rally.
