Albania and the European Union have closed their first three membership chapters, marking a major step in the country's bid to join the bloc.
Prime Minister Edi Rama called the agreement a milestone, saying it proves domestic reforms are delivering real results.
European Commissioner Marta Kos praised the progress, confirming Tirana had met key legal and anti-corruption benchmarks to unlock the deal.
She urged the government to maintain its momentum, noting that more than 90 percent of Albanians support joining the union.
