Brazil and Morocco reach knockout stage

Brazil and Morocco reached the World Cup knockout stage after winning their final Group C matches.

Brazil beat Scotland 3-0 to finish top of the group and end Scotland’s campaign.

Morocco also went through after a 4-2 win over Haiti.

In Group B, Switzerland beat Canada 2-1 to finish first and move into the last 32.

Canada also went through despite the defeat and will face South Africa in the next round.

Bosnia and Herzegovina beat Qatar 3-1 in the other Group B match, but the result was not enough to keep them in the tournament.

Qatar finished bottom of the group after losing their final two matches.
