A U.S. federal court has stripped a former Bosnian paramilitary member of his American citizenship for hiding his real identity and an active war crimes warrant.
Sead Miljković became a U.S. citizen in 2007 while facing an Interpol red notice for allegedly beating 12 civilians and locking them in a morgue for five days in 1994.
The U.S. Justice Department said Miljković consented to the Tennessee court's ruling but has not yet faced trial in Bosnia.
