Kosovo records highest inflation in the Balkans

Kosovo reached the highest consumer inflation rate in the Balkans in June, hitting 6%.

Bulgaria and Bosnia followed closely at 5.6%, ahead of Croatia at 4.5% and Greece at 4.4%.

Prices rose more slowly elsewhere in the region. Montenegro reported an inflation rate of 3.6%, North Macedonia 3.4%, and Albania 3.2%.

Serbia recorded the region's lowest inflation at just 2.7%, according to figures published by regional tracker Kos Data.
