Three missing Kosovo Albanians found dead in river

Three Kosovo Albanians who went missing on Saturday were found dead after their car plunged into a river in North Macedonia.

The victims lost contact with their families after leaving the airport in the capital, Skopje, to drive home to Kosovo.

Search teams located their vehicle submerged in the Lepenc River. Authorities pulled the car from the water and confirmed all three passengers were dead inside.

Police in North Macedonia have opened an investigation to determine the cause of the fatal crash.
