Govt prepares new strategic investment law

Albania’s governing Socialist Party is drafting a new law on strategic investments, parliamentary group leader Taulant Balla said in parliament.

Balla gave no details on the proposed changes or when the legislation would be submitted for approval.

He announced the plan during a debate covering strategic investments and development in protected areas.

Balla said the governing majority would determine when the bill enters parliament and comes to a vote.
