Serbia urges Kosovo Serbs to support Serbian List

Serbian officials are urging displaced Kosovo Serbs to vote for the Belgrade-backed Serbian List in Kosovo’s early parliamentary elections on 7 June.

The Office for Kosovo in Serbia’s government has been campaigning among displaced Serbs who still have the right to vote in Kosovo.

Its head, Petar Petković, called a vote for the Serbian List a vote for the survival of Serbs in Kosovo.

The Serbian List’s only rival is Nenad Rašić’s Party for Freedom, Justice and Survival.

The EU has called for a free and transparent election without outside interference.
