Kosovo imported almost seven times more goods than it exported in May, official data show.
The Statistics Agency said exports were worth €94.1m in May 2026.
Imports reached €638.6m.
Exports rose 15.7% from a year earlier, but imports were still much higher.
Imports also grew, rising 5.6%.
Basic metals were Kosovo’s biggest export group.
The European Union bought nearly a third of Kosovo’s exports and supplied almost half of its imports.
Kosovo also traded more with nearby Balkan countries, including North Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Serbia.
