Thousands of Kosovo citizens living abroad are voting at diplomatic missions ahead of the 7 June early parliamentary election.
Kosovo’s election commission says more than 27,000 voters registered to cast ballots in person at 30 embassies and consulates in 18 countries.
By 13:00, almost 10,800 had voted, or about 39% of those registered for in-person voting abroad.
They are part of more than 110,000 diaspora voters registered for the election.
It is only the second time Kosovo has allowed in-person voting at diplomatic missions.
The early election was called after parliament failed to elect a new president within the constitutional deadline.
