Five people were injured in Thessaloniki after three homemade bomb attacks targeted homes linked to officials from Greece’s ruling New Democracy party.
A 70-year-old woman is in critical condition with severe burns after the worst attack caused a fire in the Harilaou area.
She is the mother of politician Aphrodite Nestora, whose car was damaged in the blast. Nestora suffered minor burns, while her father and two other residents were taken to hospital with breathing problems from the smoke.
Two other attacks targeted buildings linked to former MP Savvas Anastasiadis and local New Democracy official Zisis Ioakimovic.
