Jobs in international institutions were the highest paid in Albania in 2025, with average gross monthly wages reaching 189,000 leks.
That was more than twice the national average of 84,000 leks, according to INSTAT data.
The figures show how wide the pay gap remains across Albania’s labour market.
Finance and insurance came next, with average wages of 160,000 leks a month.
Information and communication, including IT jobs, paid about 127,000 leks.
Mining averaged 109,000 leks, while professional, scientific and technical work paid around 105,000 leks.
Public administration wages passed 100,000 leks for the first time.
Hotels, restaurants and food services remained among the lowest-paid sectors, despite rising demand from tourism.
