Car registrations in Albania fell again in May as higher transport costs slowed vehicle imports from Asia.
Road transport data show 8,116 vehicles were registered for the first time, down 7.5% from the same month last year.
The drop follows a smaller fall in April, after record registrations in the first three months of the year.
Market operators say longer routes have affected cars coming from South Korea and China.
The two countries have become Albania’s main sources for imported vehicles, including electric cars.
Electric car registrations also fell in May, but remain far higher than a year earlier.
