Albania changes business laws for EU market

Albania is changing company laws to help local businesses work more easily with EU partners.

A parliamentary committee approved three draft laws linked to Chapter 6 of Albania’s EU accession talks.

The bills would allow Albanian companies, after EU membership, to join EU-style company structures with partners from member states.

Officials said the changes would help businesses operate across the EU without opening separate branches in each country.

The bills still need further committee approval before a final vote.
