The United States and Iran say they have reached a diplomatic agreement that is expected to take effect on Friday, after months of fighting and disruption in the Middle East.
President Donald Trump said the US would lift its naval blockade of Iranian ports. Iran is expected to reopen the Strait of Hormuz once the deal is signed.

Trump said the agreement would keep the key oil and gas route open to international shipping and include a commitment by Iran not to obtain nuclear weapons.
Iranian officials also presented the deal as a success, while Pakistan said it included an immediate and permanent halt to military operations.
But major questions remain over enforcement, especially in Lebanon, where Israel has continued strikes against Hezbollah.
