A court in Kosovo has sentenced a man to six years in prison for spying for Serbia’s intelligence service.
The Basic Court in Pristina found Hysri Selimi guilty of passing information to Serbia’s BIA agency for more than 15 years.
Prosecutors said he was paid up to €700 a month.
Selimi was accused of sharing information about Albanians who had joined Islamic State in Syria, including their numbers, organisation and locations.
He had previously been convicted in Kosovo for joining terrorist groups. He denied the espionage charge.
Kosovo has brought several espionage cases in recent months against people suspected of working for Serbian intelligence.
