Trump rejects Iran response to US peace proposal

US President Donald Trump says Iran’s response to an American proposal aimed at ending the conflict is “completely unacceptable”.

Trump made the comments on his Truth Social platform after Iranian media reported that Tehran had delivered its official reply through Pakistan, which is acting as a mediator.

“I just read the response from the so-called ‘representatives’ of Iran. I do not like it — IT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!” Trump wrote.

No details have yet been released about Iran’s response or the next stage of diplomatic contacts between the two sides.
