Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani signaled her intention to remain active in public life beyond her current mandate, stating that her political engagement will continue as the country moves forward on the international stage.

PRISTINA, April 14 (TemA) – Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani has hinted she will remain active in national politics after her term ends next year, stressing her long-term commitment to the country’s future.
Speaking shortly after Sudan recognized Kosovo as an independent state, Osmani downplayed speculation about her next steps, saying the focus should remain on Kosovo’s future—not individual political careers.
“My contribution to Kosovo will continue for a long time,” Osmani said. “What matters is the country’s direction, not personal paths.”
Her comments come amid rising regional attention to Kosovo’s diplomacy and internal political dynamics, as the country works to expand global recognition and advance its EU and NATO ambitions.
