TIRANA, Sep 4 (TemA) – Albania’s top election court dismissed a challenge by the opposition Democratic Party on Thursday, issuing a final ruling that cannot be appealed.
The Electoral College asked the Central Election Commission to file mandate-allocation decisions for all 12 districts. The request does not alter Thursday’s outcome and leaves current seat allocations in place.
DP lawyers objected to adding documents they say sit outside the case. The ruling Socialist Party had sought the files as supplementary records.
