North Macedonia dismisses eight cabinet ministers

North Macedonia’s parliament has dismissed eight cabinet ministers and two deputies to clear the way for a new political lineup.

Lawmakers voted to remove the officials running the justice, health, agriculture, culture and social policy departments, alongside a deputy prime minister.

The mass dismissals are the first step in a planned cabinet reshuffle to restructure the national government.

Parliament will now review nominations and vote to install the replacement ministers.
