South Korea and China have overtaken traditional European manufacturers to become the top source of cars imported into Albania.
Official transport figures for the first half of the year show Korean vehicles led new registrations with 25 percent of sales.
Chinese models followed in second place at 17 percent, driven by growing public demand for electric and hybrid car technology.
Former market favorites Germany and Italy dropped to third and fourth place, holding just 12 and 11 percent of imports respectively.
The latest numbers show Albanian drivers are now turning away from Western brands in favor of modern Asian alternatives.
