Albania’s short-term rental market is growing faster than any other in the Balkans, new AirDNA data show.
The number of available rentals rose 19.3% in the 12 months to March 2026.
Albania had almost 27,000 listings available each month on average, making it the second-largest market in the region after Romania.
Overnight stays also rose, reaching 2.36 million.
Revenue from short-term rentals reached about €133.7m.
But supply is now growing faster than demand. Average occupancy fell slightly to 53.9%, from 54.5% a year earlier.
The figures show Albania is adding tourist accommodation quickly, but still depends heavily on the summer season.
