Several major cultural sites have been granted protected status under a new government decision.
The move covers the archaeological parks of Bylis, Klos and Orikum, three of the country’s most important historic locations.
It also includes an archaeological zone in Bushat, in the municipality of Vau i Dejës.
In the south, part of the town of Delvina has been declared a protected urban architectural area.
Officials say the decision sets clear rules for protection, management and long-term preservation.
The aim is to better safeguard cultural heritage and improve how these sites are maintained and used.
