Kosovar actor Enver Petrovci dies at 71

PRISTINA, Sept 22 (TemA) — Enver Petrovci, a celebrated Kosovar actor and director, died at 71.

Born in 1954, in Pristina, Petrovci studied acting at the Higher Pedagogical School in Pristina and later at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University of Belgrade.

He built a major stage career at Belgrade’s Atelje 212 theatre, gaining wide recognition across the former Yugoslavia. After the 1990s wars, he continued to work successfully in Kosovo, Albania and beyond.
