Albania signs “historic” deal with Presevo Albanians

TIRANA, Sep. 10 (TemA) — Albania struck a “historic memorandum” with the Albanian National Council in Serbia’s Presevo Valley, pledging stronger cultural and economic cooperation for the ethnic Albanian community in Bujanoc, Presevo and Medveda.

The deal, sealed during the #Diplo2025 ambassadors’ conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama’s support, opens the way for joint projects in heritage, innovation and youth development.

Officials said the memorandum gives a new push to Albania’s diplomacy, tying solidarity and culture to the future of Albanians across the border.
