Police launch summer campaign against loud music

Police in Albania are increasing patrols across the country to stop noise pollution and protect the summer holiday season.

Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari warned bar and club owners that extreme noise is not entertainment when it disturbs locals and tourists on the coast.

He stated that anyone who ignores the law and plays very loud music will quickly find police officers at their door.

Lamallari urged the public to report noise directly to the police hotline. He added that these strict checks aim to keep holiday resorts peaceful and safe for everyone.
