Thousands march in Tirana demanding Rama’s resignation

Thousands of people marched through central Tirana on Saturday, calling for Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign.

The protest began in Skanderbeg Square before the crowd moved towards the prime minister’s office.

Organisers said it was the 21st protest in a row against Rama’s government.

Some Albanians living abroad also joined the rally, carrying national flags and banners.

Protesters used megaphones to call for political change.
