Ecuador beat Germany as USA lose to Turkey

Ecuador beat Germany 2-1 in their final World Cup group match, but Germany still reached the knockout stage.

Ivory Coast also went through from Group E after a 2-0 win over Curacao.

The Netherlands finished strongly in Group F, beating Tunisia 3-1 to top the group.

Japan drew 1-1 with Sweden and also moved on.

In Group D, Turkey beat the United States 3-2, but the result was not enough to stop the USA from reaching the last 32.

Australia drew 0-0 with Paraguay in the other Group D match.

The results completed another set of group-stage games before the knockout round.
