Kosovo must speed up reforms and make progress in talks with Serbia if it wants to move closer to the European Union.
The European Parliament backed Kosovo’s EU membership goal in a new resolution, but said the country’s progress depends on action at home and in the EU-led dialogue with Belgrade.
The resolution also says Kosovo could lose EU money if its political crisis delays reforms already agreed with Brussels.
Kosovo is due about €882m from the EU’s Western Balkans package, but the money depends on meeting reform targets.
MEPs also called for justice over the 2023 Banjska attack, saying Serbia has still not prosecuted those responsible.
