Foreign investment in Albania hit a first-quarter record of €404m, with property taking the biggest share.
Bank of Albania data show FDI rose 11.6% from the same period last year.
Real estate accounted for 43% of all inflows, or about €174m, also a record for the first quarter.
Much of the demand is linked to foreign buyers in Albania’s coastal property market, where prices remain lower than in many rival Mediterranean destinations.
Reinvested profits made up €206m, just over half of total FDI.
New capital injections rose 25.3% to €183m.
The central bank says foreign investment has helped support the lek in recent years.
